The Digital pedagogy toolkit for the ModPPC refers to the development of a toolkit for digital pedagogy in PPL and digital PPL tools. Capitalising on the findings of WP2 and in sync with the development of the ModPPC in WP3 of the project, the digital tools that best fit each ModPPC module are selected and showcased in the toolkit.

Taking into consideration the needs and capabilities that best fit the ModPCC, a large number of digital tools, both in terms of participatory planning and pedagogy, were reviewed, assessed and selected for inclusion in the toolkit, from a pool of available platforms and open resource hubs.

The activities for the Development of the ModPPC, the Digital pedagogy toolkit for ModPPC and the Teaching and training material are necessary to complete the creation of an effective and innovative curriculum in Participatory Planning and digital PPL tools.

The primary aim of the Digital Participatory Planning Toolkit is to provide knowledge to students, educators and professionals that will allow them to enhance the involvement of diverse stakeholders in the planning process by utilising digital platforms. Its goals include:

  • The provision of methodological insights and proposal of tools and methods to integrate new technologies in the planning process and enhance participatory planning.
  • To support Higher Education methodologies in adapting to the current needs.
  • To support educators in adopting innovative teaching methods for motivating students. To familiarise educators with blended learning methods and participatory methods and tools.

The toolkit is designed (within the context of the ModPCC) with pedagogical principles to educate and engage users effectively.
