Teaching Participatory Planning: Evidence from across Europe

The DEMo4PPL: Digital Education Modules 4 Participatory Planning Final Multiplier Event, titled “Teaching Participatory Planning: Evidence from across Europe,” will take place on October 24, 2025, from 09:30 to 13:00 CET. The event is hosted on-site at Sala Vigliano, Castello del Valentino (39 Viale Mattioli, 10125) in Torino, Italy, and will also be accessible online (a link will be shared with registered participants the day before the event).

Key Activities and Presenters:

The program features presentations and discussions on the project’s key outputs:

• Welcome Speeches & Introduction (09:30-09:45): Andrea Bocco and Giancarlo Cotella (Politecnico di Torino) will open the meeting.
• DEMo4PPL Project Presentation (09:45-10:00): Nikolaos Gavanas (University of Thessaly) will present the project.
• Modular Curriculum Presentation (10:00-10:20): Tzvetalina Genova (Varna University of Management) will detail the modular curriculum.
• Digital Toolkit Presentation (10:20-10:40): Petros Rodakinas (University of Thessaly) will present the digital toolkit.
• Pilot Applications and Planning Studios (10:40-12:25): Researchers from the partner universities (University of Thessaly, University of Lodz, Politecnico di Torino, Varna University of Management, and SEMPXPA) will share selected pilot applications and the results of the Participatory Planning Studios.
• Knowledge Hub Presentation (12:25-12:40): Katarzyna Lesniewska-Napierala (University of Lodz) will present the DEMo4PPL Knowledge Hub.
• Future Sustainability and Conclusion (12:40-13:15): An open discussion on the project’s future sustainability will be followed by the conclusion and closure of the meeting by Giancarlo Cotella (Politecnico di Torino) and Nikolaos Gavanas (University of Thessaly).

A buffet lunch is scheduled for 13:30-14:30.
